You go on cute dates . You make everyone else jealous of what you have but what they don’t know is - your relationship is lacking that sense of, loyalty . It’s something all relationships need that many neglect . 

What’s a relationship without trust, loyalty, and honesty ? It’s that battle between those words that float around in your head “Is there someone else?” Why would you wanna go through that pain - the pain of waking up everyday wondering what’s really going on ? What is love if all you do is worry - everyday going to your partner with questions as long as a novel . Finding if everything they’re saying is “bullshit”

There’s nothing better than having a partner you confide in, who you can take every word to truth . It’s the glue that continues your relationship to sail solidly . He/She can buy you the fastest cars, the nicest shoes, most expensive dinners but what’s more valuable than his/her honesty and trust ?

We go through our life, in this society, thinking we always need the best . The best including, the best for our partner . You know, showering them with gifts and materialistic items that seem to make them “stand out” compared to the rest . Despite the 10 digit number you spent on that watch, or how few places carry that jacket, it doesn’t even matter . 

You know what matters ? Your bond with each other . The way you two treat each other . Not as individuals but as an item . It’s the memories that you make and remember that matter . The little questions like, “When was our first date?” or “What was I wearing when you first told me you love me?” that stand out . 

Not the objects covered by a 10-foot receipt, but the gift of heart . The gift of trust . The knowledge of knowing that you would always be there for each other . The cute things you do to make each other smile . Like those good morning messages and dropping off lunch or fresh roses once in a while for work . 

Try having creative dates once in a while - instead of the over cliche dinner and a movie . Try going out to the park on a nice sunny day, and paint pictures on giant strips of canvas . Don’t think, oh I can’t paint to save my life . You’re gonna look at each other’s pictures and probably laugh . You’re gonna look back at that picture years later and remember how good of a time you had . 

Don’t ever think that your girl or your boy will remember you because “I bought him/her everything.” Never . In the end it’s gonna hit you in the face and you’re gonna realize you left an impression with regiftable gifts and bland memories .  

Little things matter . The laughter, the smiles, the kisses, the embrace, everything . The sweet things that prove you love each other is what will glue you two together as one .

*Sigh* Okay, here I go….
The grueling moments right before you say it . The nerves that run through your arteries and veins and the butterflies in your stomach that won’t seem to fly away even when you try .  

It’s been a while . It’s finally here after all those long phone calls and cute IMs back and forth to each other, you finally have the courage to let out those three words . 

Those three words that confess how you really feel about that someone . Those three words that lets out all honesty and wonders of, “What if?”  Those three words that will let someone know how special they are to you . You start to day dream a bit -maybe things will turn out right- then your thoughts start to expand into a large field full of pleasant pictures of wrapping each other in ones arm and giving soft gentle kisses on the lips . Sounds great . Then you start to drift from that dream -what if that response is a “no”- then your picturesque moments turn into dark times of regret “I shouldn’t have done that!” 

Whatever . It’s now or never . You start to contemplate whether or not you should just keep it to yourself then finally, “SCREW IT, What do I have to lose? The worse that could happen is ‘No.’ ” You glance from afar and take a deep breath . 3 footprints forward…

It amazes us how happy we are with someone we find and love at such a young age . How when even in the mere ages of a teenager, we find the one we want to be with forever .

Though, with every bliss moments come tough obstacles . Most of them revolving around: doubt . Where everyone around you, is striving for the both of you to fail . Where everyone around you, is telling you constantly that you’re just naive and you don’t know what love is . You start to give in, “Maybe they’re right .” 

But then just when you feel like you should wait and grow up a little more, a light comes through and gives you a reason to love . You know, it’s that one person that when they walked in the room - clocks were spinning and you felt like the objects around you were frozen and were frightened to move by the presence of such a wondrous being . 

Your engaging conversations turn into 10 hour moments of arguing about who should hang up first or who loves each other more . Your hours turn into days of smiles being lifted upon your faces, as if a puppeteer above you is forcing it but you need not fight it . Every moment spent with each other felt better than the last and every moment you two are apart, makes you miss each other more . 

This one person changed your perspective on everything and gave you hope that you will never let slip away from your fingers . You start to be a little skeptic about the situation, “maybe it’s just infatuation ?” But face it, you’re in love, you like it, and there’s nothing you or the world can do about it . 

Knowing you have the world right in front of you and knowing it’s yours forever, is one of the reasons that makes you keep going through the day . Knowing that the person you love loves you just the same, is pure bliss . ♥

It’s absolutely sensational those feelings you get that surge through your body when you lay lips on someone you care about . You know that feeling that you get when time seems to freeze and as if you two are the only ones there, frozen in your tracks . That sense of security as your lips caress each other in this chokehold, not ever letting go .

Some kisses so short and sweet as if they’re mere messages that only you may understand with your partner . Some kisses so brave and bold that maybe it just turns into a sultry lustful act . But both share something in common: the agreement of passion and fire that runs through your veins as your heart beats faster .

There’s always that heat that makes you like it, some more than others but it’s there as the two wholes combine and form one . With every kiss there is a background story . Write yours, the way you want it to be written .

Being yourself around the person you love the most .

Being able to come out of bed in the morning, without fixing yourself up to “impress” them . Being able to walk around hand in hand, appreciating what’s by your side . Being able to laugh and be laughed at, only to believe it’s you two vs. the world and being on top of it . Being able to make goofy faces and act silly but being nothing less than beautiful . Being able to see each other’s worst and believing that an aesthetic painting is before you . 

Being able to love someone for what’s on the inside rather than the out .

Best Friend Love Story

There’s nothing better than having that ONE to be your complete self around . The one who laughs and makes you laugh . The one, where every problem of yours turns into their excuse to make you smile . The one, to run around silly with all morning, play games with all afternoon, and listen to all night . You know, it’s that type of love that beats every other romance novel . The type where your best friend is your lover, and your lover is your best friend . 

You see them walk down the hallway one day and just glance at them with a, “Oh, there he(she) is, gotta get to class,” type of face . Day by day passes, then that glance turned into a stare of, “She(He)’s absolutely beautiful .” You spend your nights talking on the phone, till dawn, about all the problems in your life and you begin to realize that that person is the only one who took the time to listen to you . The only person who was ever able to make you grin so widely and laugh till your cheeks hurt at that time . You can’t think of anyone better, to trust and to trust you . 

“I like you .” Those dreaded words that have been creeping through your mind has finally slipped . You sit there and think, “What have I done? I think I just ruined our friendship .” 

“I like you too .” You hear it and your world just froze . Like those heavy breaths of air just turned into little choke-holds . 

You both decide to take the biggest risk, but recognize that you will always be friends first and begin to create something beautiful .
